Job description:

– Liaising with key company employees to determine their product and service needs;
– Monitoring business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times;
– Nurturing relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company;
– Identifying and researching potential new suppliers;
– Researching new products and services to meet company's goals;
– Assessing total costs of company purchases;
– Developing and implementing strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels;
– Work in ERP systems.

Job Requirements:

– Bachelor's degree;
– Min 5 years of experience in CAPEX or raw materials procurement;
– Fluency in English;
– Knowledge of Russian is desirable;
– Knowledge of German is desirable;
– Planning experience;
– A solid knowledge of MS office package;
– Engineering background.

Job Description: 

Development and implementation of a Purchasing Strategy for the corresponding commodities
Identification, selection and development of strategic suppliers
Preparation and execution of price and contract negotiations
Cost analysis and target costing to optimize purchasing decisions; Implementation of cost reduction strategies
Planification and conduction of cost reduction workshops
Coordination of Commodity Buyers in the different locations
Tracking of relevant market developments for early identification of opportunities and risks
Active participation in budget planning as well as reporting processes
Support of Project Purchasing during the sourcing of new projects
Support of Serial Purchasing in escalations

Job requirements:

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field 
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably with a focus on metal components and battery technology
Knowledge of battery technology is desirable, good knowledge about metal component manufacturing processes, and market dynamics
Proven negotiation and supplier management skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in procurement software and tools
Fluent in English (at least B2) and willingness to travel
