On behalf of our client, Whirlpool, an American multinational manufacturer and marketer of home appliances, we are searching for a motivated candidate to take the challenge and to successfully fulfill the position of Sales representative.

Job description

  • Develop and implement local sales activities with Trade Partners in order to achieve the agreed targets
  • Follow up and analyze sales performance and payment execution discuss and agree sales and promotional targets on Trade Partner and its store level
  • Improve distribution of products, and ensure the presence of the products at the point of sales of Trade Partners
  • Build up relationships to all relevant decision makers within Trade Partners and visit stores on a regular basis
  • Provide sales results reporting on the regular basis
  • Work to find new clients, establish new accounts in compliance with the company's sales policy and obtains orders
  • Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers
  • Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature;
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and territory analyses
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques etc.
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
  • Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales. – Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

  • Higher vocational or University degree, preferable in economics
  • Minimum 1 year in sales experience (experience in home appliances industry business is an advantage).
  • Knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods and techniques
  • Well organized, responsible, and a team-player
  • Strong customer orientation, excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Communication level of English
  • Advanced usage of MS Office (Excel)
  • Flexible, energetic, persistent, positive
  • Willing to travel
  • Valid driver’s license
