Professional Chinese Translator
On behalf of our client, Wintech Energy, a company that is working on a 2-GW renewables project in Bor, Manpower Serbia is searching for a motivated candidate to take the challenge and to successfully fulfill the position of Professional Chinese Translator.
Job description
Core responsibilities:
• Work with written documents to convey their meaning and style into Serbian, English and Chinese.
• Responsible for the company's whole translation work (interpretation, written etc.)
• Predominantly work with business, technical, legal and scientific written materials
Day-to-Day Activities:
• Keep in touch with translation and related resource partners.
• Work with other teams on translation affairs including project development, sales, legal, HR, finance etc
Position Requirements
• Working experience in the field of translation, experience in electric power, renewable energy and wind power industry is preferred.
• Undergraduate or postgraduate degree
• The certification issued by the Institute of Translation and Interpreting would be an advantage.
• Fluency in Chinese, listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• Good knowledge of English.
• The ability to work to deadlines.
• The ability to grasp new concepts quickly, e.g. Technical terms.
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• A clear writing style with an impeccable knowledge of spelling and grammar.
• Attention to detail.
• The ability to build good relationships with clients.
